Photos of Cappadocia Hot Air Balloons

Photo Art Series by Paul E Williams
At dawn, weather permitting, hot air balloons rise into the cool morning air above Goreme in Cappadocia, central Anatolian Turkey. The skilful balloon pilots then drop into deep valleys full of rock formations known as fairy chimneys. This gives their passengers unique views of the incredible rock pillars and eroded rocks. Both the rock formations and the hot air balloons floating above them are one of the great tourist sights in the world.
