We all built imaginary castles in the air and dream our legacy will last forever. Some actually built real castles many of which today are abandoned ruins. Towering Delusions is a photo series that explores the picturesque beauty of the shattered dreams of our ancestors, who probably believed their dynasties would last forever. It's a cautionary tale for the 5% of the worlds population who are building empires at the expense the 95% of the rest of us. They really can't take it with them. I hope you enjoy the photos.
