Camden was my home territory in London. I lived there as a student and had a studio there for over 30 years. Camden Market is one of the top tourist destinations in London, known for its Goth and Tattoo shops. Today it is less alternative than when I took these photos in 2010, but its still colourful enough. Photos by Paul E Williams.

Most of these shop and restaurant front photos were taken in Hungary around 2006-7. Many will have disappeared having been repaired or up-dated. Many of these shops are a little glimpse of how shops looked under Soviet style socialism before capitalism took Hungary by storm and forced many small shops out of business.
